Abdelrahman is Assistant Professor of educational technology in the department of Teaching and learning Technologies at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Oman. He obtained his Ph.D. from Sudan University of Science and Technology (Sudan) with association of the University of Pretoria (South Africa). His current areas of research include technology integration, Social media, mobile learning, e-learning, distance education, and use of web 2.0 technologies in education.
